Placester has packed up and moved a few blocks over to Boston’s renowned Financial District. The new office, located at 100 High Street, was custom-designed for Placester, with the intent of having a residential feel — similar to the homes our agent and broker customers help home buyers purchase nationwide.
Each conference room is named for the various rooms you find in the traditional home — Nook, Den, Living Room, Family Room, and so on — with the aesthetic matching that found in the typical household. In addition to the unique atmosphere, the modern office provides ample space for the many new hires projected to join the company in 2016 and beyond.
“Since the company’s founding in 2010, Placester has always envisioned becoming a full operating system for real estate,” Placester COO and Co-founder Fred Townes noted in a Boston Business Journal feature on the new office. “With our growing team, that vision is becoming a reality. Moving into this new space signifies the next chapter for Placester’s team, our products, and our customers.”
Placester CEO and Co-founder Matt Barba echoed these sentiments, noting in an interview with Inman News that moving into the new office is a clear indication the company is headed in the right direction.
“In the past year, Placester experienced rapid growth — from funding to national contracts to nearly 100 new additions to our team,” said Barba. “We’re excited to take our business to the next level with this new custom-built office space.”
